ISCF COMMUNICATIONS & MEDIA
The Central Florida Muslim community is a melting pot with the same values as their fellow Americans: love, peace, unity, and compassion for others. Expressing these common values is vital to our country’s security and prosperity. There is a need to communicate the common values, morals, and beliefs among Americans in order to maintain unity, liberty, and justice for all Americans. With this in mind, the goal of the ISCF Communications & Media Department is to provide a means for expressing the values integral to Islam and their relevance to the Central Florida community. Our objectives are the following:
Address misconceptions and misinformation the public holds about Islam Present accurate representation of Islamic values Present the relevance of Islam to America, specifically, Central Florida Present the contributions American Muslims make in Central Florida Provide an outlet for patriotic and peaceful views of American Muslims. Provide an outlet for Central Florida Muslims to discuss issues relevant to them Highlight the richness and diversity of the Central Florida Muslim community Encourage Muslims to be involved in the media We encourage community members to support our efforts by becoming sponsors and supporters of our programs. We also encourage feedback and suggestions for our program.
