The Islamic Society of Central Florida (ISCF) is an organization which strives to serve the greater Central Florida community by catering to the social, religious, and educational needs of its Muslim inhabitants. By integrating a diverse, and talented, rich Muslim populace with the greater Central Florida community, ISCF intends to develop a model American Muslim community.

    		Zakah al-Mal is a cyclic charity based on the amount of wealth. This payment is obligatory upon any Muslim individual or organization that has completed the requirement of nisab and haul (one hijrah calendar year). The payment is 2.5% out of the total wealth deemed for zakah. Nisab is the equivalent value of 3 oz. of gold, which equals approximately $2,132 in Ramadan 1428.     		The Center for Peace is a non profit, volunteer, outreach arm of the Islamic Society of Central Florida that works to dispel stereotypes and misconceptions about Islam and Muslims.
